Aid during the war in Ukraine

We are created to help

In February 2022, the largest war in Europe since World War II began when Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Homes in countless cities and villages were damaged or completely destroyed. After the Russian army retreated from the western bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region, many frontline villages were left in ruins. In some communities, not a single home escaped damage.

Here you can see how these villages looked like after the war:

Churches from across Ukraine, together with believers from other countries, joined forces to help these communities recover. They repaired roofs, replaced doors and windows, and restored homes to a livable condition—giving families hope and the opportunity to begin rebuilding their lives.

This practical demonstration of Christ’s love opened many hearts. As people experienced the care of God’s family, they wanted to learn more about Jesus and His Church. In response, missionary teams began serving these villages and planting new churches.

Today, five teams of young missionaries continue to serve these communities by meeting practical needs, sharing the Gospel, and discipling new believers. They are supported by two ordained ministers who provide spiritual leadership, mentoring, and pastoral care.

You have an opportunity to become part of this ministry through your prayers and financial support. Together, we can continue bringing both hope and the Good News of Jesus Christ to people whose lives have been deeply affected by war.
